Our Story

 We are Karis & Sharlene, two best friends since the age of 2. In 2014 we both married the loves of our lives, ironically both weddings happened a month apart! We wanted to document our journey together and Practical Ever After was born.

Why Practical? ...
Well, we want to prove to you that you can have the wedding or lifestyle you desire if you just have a practical positive outlook.  Whatever your goal or dream it can be achieved, sure it helps when you've got a friend who has your back .

What will I find on the blog?
 Practical Ever After started out as a wedding blog but now that our weddings are over, you find pretty much anything and everything on our site from food recipes, health and fitness diaries, to travel, beauty, and home interior. But we are still present in the Wedding world. You can still find posts on our weddings, seasonal inspiration, budgets, DIY {from favours to stationery}, styling inspiration, wedding dresses and not forgetting the suppliers we found along the way (tried and tested).

If weddings aren't your bag don't worry wwrite, snap and vlog about food, beauty, DIY, interior and happy things!

 Practical Ever After
gives you an insight into our very different lifestyles; one of us drinks way too much coffee, the other is partial to fruit tea; we both agree Green tea is yuk! {honesty is our policy}

 Join us whilst we stumble, laugh and rock this life.
